  • Yesica Mendez-Hernandez, 27, was issued a citation for failure to have a valid driver’s license.
  • A caller asked whether she could borrow a trap “for a raccoon that keeps hanging in the area.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “the lock has been broken on her garage.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said someone “just left his residence, throwing rocks when she peeled out,” and the “rocks struck him and his house.” An officer responded and learned that when someone was “attempting to leave by driving away, the truck was slipping on the ice.” The driver “pushed the accelerator more in an attempt to get the truck moving.” The officer advised the caller and the driver “to leave each other alone for the night.”
  • A caller said she “saw a suspicious vehicle pull up to her residence and walked by her window last night.” The caller “wanted to know what steps she should take if that happens again.” An officer responded and advised the caller to call the Perry Police Department “if it happened again.”
  • A caller said “his scooter stopped working” and he “would like assistance.” An officer responded and the Perry First Responders were paged “for lift assist and assistance in getting the scooter home.”
  • A caller said “there were two white males outside his residence, pounding on the door.” The caller said “they always knock on his door very loudly, and he doesn’t know who they are.” Officers responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
