January 22, 2017

  • A caller said “her wallet was stolen in the last couple of days.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “a black male came to his residence soliciting products.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he found a bicycle. An officer responded.
  • A caller “requested an officer escort her” in order “to pick up some property.” An officer responded.
  • Ricky Dean Glass, 49, 1311 Seventh St., Perry, was arrested on charges of fifth-degree theft and public intoxication.
  • Several callers reported hearing explosions west of Perry. The callers were referred to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
  • A caller said “someone has some of his stolen property, and he is on his way there now to take photos.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was alerted.
  • A caller said “he was transporting his mattress and other belongings and just realized his mattress is not in the vehicle.” The caller was transferred to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.

January 23, 2017

  • A juvenile male from Sac City was issued a citation for first-offense curfew violation by an officer of the Perry Police Department.
  • A vehicle was impounded and its juvenile driver issued a citation for violation of instruction permit and no insurance by an officer of the Perry Police Department.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
