Jan. 24, 2024
- Victor Ivan Freman-Nava, 20, of 822 16th St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- Tina Louise Wells, 49, of 2801 E. Grand Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, second-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance.
- Officers responded to a report of assault in the 1300 block of Second Street. The case is under investigation.
Jan. 25, 2024
- A 2020 Chevy Equinox, registered to Timothy Paul Oneill of 1033 850th St., Harlan, and driven by Jennifer Lynn Oneill of 1044 850th St., Harlan, collided with a legally parked 2017 Ford Edge, registered to Amanda Sue Miller of 2085 M Ave., Jefferson. Damages were estimated at $3,000.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of 18th Street. The dispute was verbal only.

- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of First Avenue. The dispute was verbal only.
- Troy Howard Smouse, 23, of 308 Part St., Coon Rapids, was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, first-offense OWI and driving under suspension.
- Brian Channing Stone, 24, of 18156 141st St., Templeton, was arrested on a charge of third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance.
- A 14-year-old male from Perry was arrested on a charge of first-degree harassment.

- Julian Guzman Perez, 18, of 1724 W. Third St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
