- The Perry Police Department received a report of harassment in the 1700 block of Second Street.
- An officer took a report of a theft from a storage unit in the 900 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
- An officer responded to the 1300 block of First Avenue on a report of an assault.
- Officers responded to the 2800 block of Eastern Avenue concerning a verbal dispute.
July 30, 2019
- Charles Andrew Onnen, 23, of 2102 Iowa St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant on an original charge of attempted second-degree burglary.
- Officers responded to the 2000 block of Willis Avenue on a report of a domestic altercation. The parties separated.
- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Willis Avenue on a front-door burglary alarm. Everything was secure.
- Zachary Alan Armstrong, 33, of 1903 W. Fourth Street, Perry, was arrested on charges of public intoxication and interference with official acts.
