July 5, 2017

  • A caller said “he would like to file charges against one of his caretakers.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said she lost her phone in the park July 4.
  • A caller said “he was at his sister’s house to pack some items for her and found it has been broken into.” The caller said “the back door has been broken in, and there is a bag of property on the ground and an alcohol bottle that has been broken.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said her daughter lost her glasses.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller from the Jefferson Police Department reported a stolen credit card. An officer responded.
  • A caller said “someone went through their cars over the weekend.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “he received a call asking if he could donate to the police department and wanted to know if ti was legitimate.” An officer responded and told the man “normally we don’t call asking for donations” but “if he wished to donate, he could come into the police department and drop something off.”
  • A caller said “her car got broken into a couple of days ago.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “she found a wallet that was on the street in Pleasant Hill.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “reported a boy about 3 to 4 years old walking around” alone in pajamas. An officer responded but “did not find a child roaming around.”
  • A “caller reported fireworks being shot off.” An officer responded but found “nothing in the area.”
  • A caller said “she wanted her husband to leave.” The caller said her husband “was intoxicated,” and “he broke a window and punched her in the ace and pulled her hair.” Officers responded. The “caller was asked on five separate occasions” but “continued to deny a physical altercation.” The officers “did not see visible injury” to the caller.

July 6, 2016

  • A caller reported “a suspicious male.” An officer responded but did not find anyone.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
