  • A caller said “there is a raccoon on their porch that appears to be sick.” The caller said “she has tried to shoo it away, but it won’t leave.” An officer responded, trapped and relocated the raccoon.
  • A caller said “yesterday and today she received two calls from the IRS.” An officer responded and determined the calls were scam phone calls.
  • A caller “reported a tree down over the bike trail.” The Perry Public Works Department was notified.
  • A caller said “her son has been receiving threatening text messages.” An officer responded and made contact with the son, who said “a few friends were messing with him,” and there were “no real threats made.”
  • A caller said her dog was lost. The caller called again and said her dog was found.
  • A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department “picked up a female caught in the rain” and “gave her a ride to Bar-Jac.”
  • The Perry Police Department tripped the severe weather emergency sirens in Perry and Dawson at 2:22 p.m.
  • Stephanie Leanne Lemon, 37, 225 N. First St., Ogden, was arrested on a Story County warrant for second-offense probation violation and on charges of providing false identification and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller said “her 10-year-old daughter’s friend who lives next door came over and talked her daughter into giving her her mom’s credit card and cash.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he lost his billfold.
  • A caller said he witnessed a hit-and-run accident. An officer responded.
  • A caller asked how to go about “getting a cell phone that his ex-wife has that belongs to him.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “someone had slashed her tire.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “her mom had called her” and said “the dog hit her in the nose and was bleeding pretty badly.” Dallas County EMS was paged.
  • Shelby Kaelyn Ryan, 20, 2178 L Ave., Woodward, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A caller reported “a bike that has been on the south side of the building” for “about a week now.” An officer responded, and the item was “placed in the bike shed.”
  • A caller said a “bike was left in between her yard and her neighbor’s.” An officer responded, and the item was “placed in the bike shed.”

June 21, 2018

  • A caller requested a welfare check on a worker who “was taken home” due to “smelling like alcohol,” and the worker “had made a comment about killing himself to a supervisor.” Officers responded.
  • Adam Charles Hay, 44, 206 N. 16th St., Grand Junction, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
  • A caller reported a suspicious person in a local retail store. Officers responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
