  • A caller said “an opossum went into her neighbor’s garage.” The caller said her “neighbor is elderly, and she doesn’t want to trouble him,” but “she is concerned because she has chickens.” An officer responded, and the caller said “she has a trap and will attempt to catch and relocate the animal.”
  • A caller reported “a strong odor of marijuana from a tenant’s unit.”
  • A caller said “a large, gray with some white rabbit” has “been in front of his house for the last two or three days and does not appear to be afraid of people.” The caller “thought it may be someone’s pet.” An officer was advised.
  • A caller said “his ex-girlfriend has a key to his house, and she won’t give it back.” The caller said “he asked her for it, and she refused to give it to him.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported a suspicious person in a suspicious vehicle. An officer responded and found an “insurance adjustor” who was “just sitting, working on a claim.”
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department taught a DARE class at St. Patrick School.
  • A caller said her two dogs were lost.
  • “An anonymous caller” reported “a drunk driver” at a local tavern. An officer responded.
  • A caller reported a pedestrian who “keeps looking around in a suspicious manner.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
