March 25, 2024

  • Behenzin Nucord Bridges, 38, of 2939 Kading Road, Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A 2020 Ford Fusion, registered to James E. Calvin of 3820 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, and driven by Destynie Ortiz of 310 Seventh St., Perry, collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado, registered to USIC Locating Services LLC of 1933 Westridge Dr., Irving, Texas, and driven by Tylor Terrene Kitts of 8214 Twana Drive, Urbandale, on Iowa Highway 141 near Eighth Street. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $8,000. Ortiz was issued a citation for failure to yield at a yield sign.
  • Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of 18th Street. The dispute was verbal only.

March 26, 2024

  • Jazzmyn Sue McKinley, 25, of 309 E. Third St., Dawson, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.

  • Tracy Ann Hanus, 39, of 700 School St., Stanhope, Iowa, was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, third or subsequent offense possession of ä controlled substance-methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Paige Leigh McCarty, 36, of 1320 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation and on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, third or subsequent offense possession of ä controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts.
  • Christina Marie Lachner, 41, of 1606 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
  • Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of Evelyn Street. The case is under investigation.
  • Officers responded to a report of a disorderly person in the 600 block of 10th Street. The person was asked to leave and advised that he or she would be arrested if he or she returned.
