  • A caller said she found “an Iowa Food Stamp card” at an ATM machine. An officer responded and made contact with the owner of the card, who “came to the police department and picked up his card.”
  • A caller said someone “was pushing him prior to the call.” Officers responded and assisted the parties in “trying to work out differences.”
  • A caller “requested help with his roommate and something to do with a contract.” Officers responded and “calmed the situation down for the night.”
  • A caller said “her mom has not been home all day” and “hasn’t answered anyone’s text messages, and she’s not at her residence.” Officers responded and sought the mother. The caller later called and said “that she spoke to her mom,” and “all was okay.”
  • A caller “wanted an officer to review a document to see if it was enough to get custody of her child back from her ex.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
