April 25, 2022
- Sahilyn Marie Hein, 24, of West Des Moines was arrested on a charge of first-offense unlawful passing of a school bus.
- A 2017 Buick Encore, registered to Darwin Siebenahler of 6573 Pleasant Dr., West Des Moines, and driven by Kelli Lee Siebenahler of 6673 Pleasant Dr., West Des Moines, collided with a 2015 Chrysler, registered to Tekle Pshalehaile of 2041 N.W. Eighth St., Grimes, and driven by Selam Beyen Andemichael of 2041 N.W. Eighth St., Grimes, near 16th Street and Willis Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $4,500. Siebenahler was issued a citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
April 26, 2022
- Officers received a report of criminal mischief and possible theft in the 1100 block of Willis Avenue. The case is under investigation.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Bateman Street. The dispute was verbal only.
- Officers responded to a report of criminal activity in the 2700 block of Fritz Street. Damage to a utility box was located, and information was relayed to the cable company.

- Ashley Marie Overly, 28, of 12750 Knox Trail, Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant on three counts of third-degree burglary.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 3000 block of Willis Avenue. The case is under investigation.
April 29, 2022
- Michael Andrew Smith, 31, of 2801 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on charges of two counts of child endangerment, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Maiken Palmieris Marroquin Argueta, 20, of 3600 Tonawanda Dr., Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
April 30, 2022
- Officers received a report of criminal mischief in the 1300 block of Second Street. Graffiti was located on a building. The case is under investigation.
- Marco Francis Roeder of 1507 Willis Ave., Perry, was issued a municipal infraction for fourth-offense dog at large and third-offense vicious dog.
May 1, 2022
- Jesmar Daniel Montez Martinez, 21, of 1723 Pine St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
May 2, 2022
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic situation in the 300 block of Seventh Street. The parties denied any altercation.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Otley Avenue. The dispute was verbal only.
- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 400 block of Fifth Street. The case is under investigation.
- Cosme Neftali Martin Martin, 29, of 603 Grand Ave., Worthington, Minnesota, was arrested on a charge of second-offense OWI.
