May 27, 2019

  • Officers assisted the Dallas County Sheriff’s office with a report of an underage alcohol party in the 1500 block of L Avenue.
  • Officers responded to the 2900 block of Iowa on a report of the theft of fire extinguishers. The property was found, and the incident is under investigation.
  • Three male juveniles, ages 13 and 14, were arrested on charges of fifth-degree theft.
  • Officers responded to the 1300 block of First Avenue for a report of a verbal dispute between two females.
  • A caller reported damage to a swing set at Pattee Park. The information was relayed to the Perry Parks and Recreation Department.
  • Officers responded to the 1500 block of 18th Street on a report of a female who had hit a sign in the area of the driving range. There was no damage to the vehicle. The Perry Public Works Department was notified of the damage to the pole.
  • Officers responded to the 1200 block of W. Second Street for possible tampering with residential locks.

May 28, 2019

  • Officers responded to the Violet Hill Cemetery to investigate a possible attempted break in.
  • Officers responded to the 1100 block of Willis Avenue on a reported theft.
  • The Perry Volunteer Fire Department was paged to the 800 block of Summer Meadows on the report of a residential fire. The fire was contained and extinguished.
  • Officers responded to the 1300 block of Willis Avenue on a harassment complaint.
  • Officers responded to the 300 block of Third Street on a report of harassment.
