  • A caller reported seeing a suspicious person. An officer responded and made contact with the person, who was helping someone move.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. Officers responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. Officers responded and determined “the yard has invisible fencing, and the dogs live there.”
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “someone texting her and wanting money.” An officer responded and told the caller it was a scam. The officer advised the caller that “no information should be given to the person no matter the stories that were being told,” and the caller “should cut off all contact.”
  • A caller said “that her phone line was cut” as her place of business. An officer responded and advised the caller “to have a phone company tech respond and if they found the line and thought any criminal activity had occurred, to call” the Perry Police Department.
  • A caller said his dog was lost. The caller called again and said his dog was found.
  • A caller said his billfold was lost.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
