- A caller said ” someone vandalized their Christmas ornaments” and “attempted to take a tree.” The caller said “that sometime during the night, someone had taken the Christmas tree decoration off the front porch and had drug it to the end of the block.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “the neighbor’s dog keeps defecating in her yard, and she is tired of it.” An officer responded.
- A caller said “she just had two people shoplift from the store.” Officers responded.
- A caller said “he had an opossum in his garage and wanted to know if an officer could assist him.” An officer responded.
- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded.
November 29, 2016
- Brandon Dean Embrey, 34, 1711 W. Third St., Perry, was arrested on a Polk County warrant on a charge of second-offense possession of a controlled substance.
- Alan Randolph Heywood Jr., 32, 2305 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of trespassing.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
