  • A caller reported an “unknown” female “sleeping on his porch” and wearing “no shoes.” The caller said he “couldn’t get her to turn over.” Officers responded and learned the sleeping person was the caller’s “girlfriend’s daughter,” who “got locked out of the house.”
  • A caller said “her neighbors are playing their music loudly.” The caller said she “works nights and can’t sleep.” An officer responded and “could just barely hear it outside the trailer.”
  • A caller “reported a semi rollover at the Angus Curve.” The caller said the “driver has minor injuries with some bleeding” but “is out of the vehicle.” The Dallas County EMS, Perry First Responders and Perry Volunteer Fire Department were paged.
  • A caller said she caught a dog running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility. The dog had “a city of Perry licence,” and the officer made contact with the owner.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked whether an officer would stand by at “his former residence while he removed personal property from the garage.” Officers responded and stood by.
  • A 13-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for first-offense minor using tobacco/vapor product.
  • A 13-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for first-offense minor using tobacco/vapor product.
  • A 14-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for first-offense minor using tobacco/vapor product.
  • A 17-year-old male from Perry was arrested on a charge of fifth-degree criminal mischief.
  • A caller requested a welfare check at a residence “due to a male subject being intoxicated with children in the house.” Officers responded. A caller later “requested an officer to come back out because he was stating he was a threat to his family. He advised he would be outside, and he had no weapons.”
  • A caller said “he is repossessing a vehicle.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
