October 17, 2016

  • A caller said three dogs were running at large. The caller later called again and said the owners of the three dogs caught them.
  • An at-large cat trapped on the grounds of the Perry Police Department was transported to the Perry Animal Holding Facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
  • A caller said her vehicle was “egged sometime last night.” An officer responded.
  • Christopher Allen Beals, 41, 200 Washington St., Bouton, was arrested on charges of driving under revocation and violation of a no-contact order.
  • A caller said she was helping her daughter to the car after minor foot surgery when “a male and a female in a black truck pulled in and nearly hit them with their vehicle. The male started to yell at her and her daughter.” An officer responded and spoke to the yelling make and female.
  • A caller said “she heard a lot of gunshots.” An officer responded and found “the gunfire being heard was coming from the shooting range, where the sheriff’s office was conducting firearms training.”
  • A caller said “a patient was trying to run away and wouldn’t come back to the house.” An officer responded.

October 18, 2016

  • Pearl Sanchez, 18, 2005 W. Second St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jorden Lee Embrey, 21, 1716 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on charges of OWI-drug related, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
