- Joseph Michael Cotton, 17, 823 Fourth St., Perry, was issued a citation for school bus violation.
- A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and was assisted by a neighbor in returning the dog to its fenced yard.
- A caller reported “teens hanging out of the sunroof on top of the vehicle.” An officer responded but did not find the teens in the vehicle.
- A caller said “her 10-month-old son is locked inside her vehicle, and both of the keys to the vehicle are inside it.” Officers responded and opened the vehicle.
- A man entered with offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a kitten he found running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
- A caller said “someone keeps knocking on her windows” but “when she goes to the door, no one is around.” She said the knocking has happened “on several occasions,”most recently “about two minutes ago.” Officers responded and remained in the area but did not find any window knockers.
- A caller reported “activity at the empty residence next to her.” An officer responded and found “everything was dark, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.”

- Tasha Alberta Joan Jackson, 23, 1211 Vine St., #1110, West Des Moines, was arrested on an Iowa Department of Corrections warrant on a charge of parole violation.
- Karry Lynn Ferguson, 37, 2014 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Eugene Wayne Smith, 45, 2736 Dean Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on charges of driving under suspension-non-payment of Iowa fines, no insurance and operating without registration.
- A caller said “she was being harassed by a neighbor.” She said she “feels very threatened by him.” Officers responded.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
