  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “with information about bad checks” at a local retail store. An officer responded, and “information was given about the Dallas County Attorney’s program for the insufficient-funds checks.”
  • A 16-year-old male from Perry was issued a citation for a tobacco violation on school property.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “to speak to an officer about money that has been stolen from him.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. “Officers were unable to respond to the area in a timely manner due to call volume.”
  • A caller said a vehicle was “traveling with an infant in the back seat with an unsecured car seat.” An officer responded but did not find the vehicle.
  • A caller reported “her and her neighbor’s mail being stolen.” The caller “said it has been going on for quite a while.” An officer responded.
  • A bus driver with the Perry Community School District entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. in order to report a school bus violation. The driver said a motorist “got impatient and drove around the bus while the stop arm was activated.” An officer responded and ran the violator’s plate number.
  • A caller said “that he is missing his medicine.” The caller was “advised both officers were out on a traffic stop and would respond when available.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
