  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said she lost her wallet.
  • A caller reported the whereabouts of someone “who has multiple warrants out of Jefferson.” Officers were advised.
  • A caller reported an abandoned bicycle. Officers responded, and “the bike was taken to the bike shed.”
  • Officers of the Perry Police Department conducted a funeral escort.
  • A caller from a medical office requested a welfare check on a patient recently “released from the hospital.” An officer responded.
  • Nathaniel Lewsi Stoltz of 2509 McKinley St., Perry, was issued a citation for first-offense nuisance burning.
  • A caller said her son was “being violent and slamming doors.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported receiving a scam phone call.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said a motorist was “squealing his tires and driving fast.” An officer was advised.
  • A caller was “upset” about a “vehicle parked in a no-parking area.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “she locked her keys in her vehicle.” An officer was advised and made contact with a local tow service. The tow service responded.
  • A caller said “he accidentally downloaded a pornography app on his phone,” and “now he’s getting messages from the FBI, and his phone isn’t working.” An officer responded, determined “the caller has a virus on his phone” and “suggested he talk to his provider.”
  • A caller at a local retail store said “a shoplifting incident just occurred.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “one of his cows got loose, and he hasn’t been able to find it.” The caller said the “cow is black.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said he and his wife “are having domestic problems.” The caller said the wife said “she wants a divorce,” and the caller “told her she could leave” and “that he paid the bills and wasn’t leaving the residence.” The caller said the wife “then hit him and left the residence with her sister.” The caller said he “had no injuries” and “that two of the children witnessed the incident.” An officer responded and “advised of the no-contact-order process.”
  • A caller said she found a kitten running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A “caller requested an officer respond to her residence” in order to talk to the caller’s 6-year-old daughter “about stealing.” An officer responded and “explained the consequences of stealing.”
  • A caller said “she observed a person across the street at a vacant house.” The caller said “when the person saw her, he got into” a vehicle and left. An officer responded and determined the “house was secure.” The officer patrolled the area but did not find the vehicle.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
