- Officers responded to a report of fraud in the 1200 block of Second Street. The case is under investigation.
- Lindsey Jo Sandy, 29, of 1007 W. Third St., Indianola was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- Dejhane Deanne Coleman Brown, 24, of 10525 Providence Dr., Johnston, was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

- Jesse Dean Siglin, 36, of 308 Lucinda St., Perry was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension.
- A 2014 Ford Focus, registered to and driven by Emma Elizabeth Klocke of 603 First St., Dedham, Iowa, collided with a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, registered and driven by Bobbi Joy Bushbaum of 1805 Lucinda St., Perry, near the intersection of SEventh Street and Willis Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $1,250.
- A 2007 Buick Le Sabre, registered to Daryl Duane Harker of 1805 Iowa St., Perry, and driven by Jammie Allen Benshoof of 1805 Iowa St., Perry, collided with a pedestrian, Francisca Santa Romero of 1424 Seventh St., Perry, on Third Street. Romero was transported by private vehicle for treatment of minor injuries.
- A 2009 Toyota Highlander, registered to Jose Eduardo Pena of 1447 Henderson Ave., Des Moines, and driven by Maria Dolores Pena of 1447 Henderson Ave., Des Moines, collided with a 2022 Volvo semi-tractor trailer, registered to First Fleet Inc. of 694 Decker Dr., Bluffton, Indiana, and driven by Timothy John Bloem of 925 First Ave. S.E., Waverly, Iowa, on Iowa Highway 141 at Willis Avenue. Pena was transported by Dallas County EMS to the Dallas County Hospital. Damages were estimated at $40,000.

- Ivan Joel Garcia Valle Vales, 22, of 500 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of two counts of forgery.
- Jacob Robert Kroupa, 25, of 2801 First Ave., Perry was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- Officers received a report of harassment in the 1200 block of 16th Street.
Oct. 15, 2023
- Miguel Angel Torres Preciado, 34, of 523 Willis Ave., Perry was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge possession of a controlled substance.
- Todd William Peitzman, 55, of 138 315th St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge possession of a controlled substance.
- Officers received a report of criminal mischief in the 2200 block of First Avenue. A shop window was broken with a rock or piece of brick. Value of loss unknown.
- A 2003 Ford Windstar, registered to John Comer of 1907 W. Third St., Perry, and driven by Marrietta Comer of 1907 W. Third St., Perry, collided with a 2013 Chevy Suburban, registered to Holly Thies of 466 Fourth St., Charter Oak, Iowa, and driven by Justin Welte of 466 Fourth St., Charter Oak, om Iowa Highway 141 near 10th Street. One person was transported by Dallas County EMS to the Dallas County Hospital. Damage was estimated at $31,000. Comer was issued a citation for failure to yield to passing vehicles.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2900 block of Kading Road.
Oct. 16, 2023
- Officers received a report of criminal mischief in the 1700 block of Warford Street. A vehicle window was damaged. The loss was estimated at $250.
- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 1600 block of W. Fourth Street.
- Robyn Sue Donaway, 56, of 3225 Fifth Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver-methamphetamine and tax stamp violation.
- Douglas Eugene Dejong, 34, of 245 Osage Dr., Ottumwa, Iowa, was arrested on a Polk County warrant for third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear for a preliminary hearing on an original charge of third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Jeffrey Conrad Albright, 30, of 6906 N. First Lane, McAllen, Texas was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance.

- Devin William Holm Morales, 27, of 305 S. Grimmell Road, Jefferson, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving under suspension.
