October 18, 2022

  • Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 600 block of 10th Street.
  • A 2018 Peterbilt box truck, registered to DMS Imaging Inc. of 728 E. Beaton Dr., West Fargo, N.D., and driven by Makenna Christine Dunlavey of 610 S.W. Maple St., Ankeny,
    collided with a 2005 Ford F350 pickup, registered to and driven by Eric Scott Morman of 2365 D Ave., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $10,000.

October 19, 2022

  • Officers received a report of harassment taking place out of town. The call was placed for information purposes only.
  • Officers received a report of attempted fraud. A letter was received in the mail requesting money. Information will be placed on social media to alert to this type of fraud.
  • Officers received a report of debit card theft and usage from the 2500 block of Perry Park Avenue. The incident is under investigation.
  • Ben Aieses Ramirez, 19, of 2665 Summer Meadows Dr., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas
    County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of eluding.
  • Heather Everage Banda, 45, of 1215 Bateman St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
  • Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 3300 block of McKinley Street. The dispute was verbal only.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
