October 27, 2023
- Kari Lorene Henson, 47, of 15067 L Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Polk County warrant for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
- A 2015 Ford F150, registered to Harry Leonard Coil of 912 W. Harrison St., Jefferson, and driven by Travis Ray Dawson of 600 Main St., Farnhamville, collided with a legally parked 2003 Chevy Silverado, registered to Tricia Lynn Parker Scantlin of 18047 130th St., Perry, in the 500 block of First Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $350.
October 28, 2023
- Ben Aieses Ramirez, 20, of 2665 Summer Meadows Dr., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for assault causing bodily injury.
- A 2012 Honda Accord, registered to and driven by Jefry Mariano Gonzalez Iglesias of 1819 Willis Ave., Perry, was at the intersection of Willis Avenue and Fifth Street when someone on a skateboard shattered the driver’s side window of Iglesia’s vehicle. The unknown skateboarder then fled the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $400.

- Julio Jose Arueta Duries, 37, of 1212 Second St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
