  • A caller said three females were jogging with a dog that was “large and is loose all the time.” An officer responded but did not find the jogger or the dog.
  • The Perry Police Department School Resource Officer reported “two students are being suspended from school.”
  • A caller said “her former mother-in-law has been calling and coming to her residence, causing problems.” An officer responded and gave the caller “contact information for crisis intervention.”
  • Deborah Mathis, 1107 17th St., Perry, was issued a citation for first-offense dog at large.
  • A caller said “an employee quit today.” The caller asked whether an officer of the Perry Police Department would “try and get the key back and serve a no-trespass order on the former employee.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “a man in wheelchair who had fallen out of it and might require assistance.” Officers responded and found the fallen man “had gotten himself back into his chair. He was okay.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
