Workers are reportedly making steady progress on phase one of the $6.5 million construction project at Perry High School.
The Industrial Technology areas (located on the east side of the campus) are being expanded and updated, with a new wrestling/multi-purpose room built along the north side of the school.
That construction has closed all north side entrances to the school and the north parking lot, all of which will remain off limits to the public until the end of the project, which officials hope will be in time for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
Until then, students, visitors and those attending activities at the school may park in the remaining areas of the PHS lot, with the gravel area south of Dewey Field available for overflow parking.
