Jolene Kraus, a 1999 graduate of Perry High School, is working with popular Property Brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott in season seven of “Brother vs. Brother,” which aired its season opener Wednesday night.

The weekly episodes can be seen Wednesdays at 8 p.m. central daylight time on HGTV. It can also be viewed online.

The weekly series features real estate competition between the twin Scott brothers, and Jolene, an interior designer by training, has a hand in their homey hilarity. She has appeared on other HGTV shows and done behind-the-scene work, but for the Property Brothers she is the designer for Jonathan and will appear on camera.

Jolene, the daughter of Gary and Surella Huitt of Perry,  lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Ben Kraus, and daughter, Arden. After graduating from PHS, she earned a bachelor’s degree in design at Iowa State University in 2004.

Jolene and Ben have their own cottage industry, park studio los angeles, where together they make custom lights, drawer and cabinet hardware and furniture.
