Due to the rainy weather, the family-friendly Ride to Read event will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Forest Park Museum at 14561 K Ave. in Perry.
The Ride to Read is sponsored by the Friends of the Perry Public Library and Friends of the Minburn Public Library and will host guest author Rebecca Janni of Johnston, who will read from her book “Spin” at the midway point along the trail. “Spin” is the story of a young girl on a bike.
The Ride to Read is a bike ride geared toward families with elementary school-aged children.
