Roger Krueger, 81, of Dawson passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, at his home in Dawson, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 23 at 10:30 a.m. at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 22 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Dallas Township Cemetery in rural Dawson.

Roger John Krueger was born on Jan. 14, 1940, at Inman, Nebraska, to Elmer Louie and Dorothy Ida (Reimers) Krueger.
He attended school in Inman for grade school and then Washington Township School in rural Minburn, graduating with the class of 1958.
Roger was united in marriage to Patricia Anne Melroy at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waukee July 11, 1959.
Roger worked at Oscar Mayer, IBP and Tyson.
He enjoyed mowing and raised longhorn cattle.
In death he rejoins his parents, Elmer and Dorothy Krueger; son, Roger Krueger Jr.; daughter, Theresa Krueger; and two brothers, Duaine Krueger and Richard Krueger.
Left to cherish Roger’s memory are his wife, Patty Krueger; children, Doug (Theresa) Krueger, Melody Sheehy and Tony Krueger; grandchildren, Bridgette, Josh (Emily), Cody, Jason, Chelsea, T. J. (Tucker) and Cam; brother, Clayton Krueger; and a sister, Gayle (Bill) Tassin.
