Seventeen deaths, 377 new COVID-19 cases reported Wednesday


DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) was notified Wednesday of 17 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 306. An additional 377 positive cases were reported for a total of 13,289 positive cases, including 741 in Dallas County.

Some 5,954 COVID-19 victims have recovered, giving the state a 43% recovery rate.
