Ten students at St. Patrick Catholic School received Shining Knight awards Friday in an all-school assembly.
The honors were awarded in the second round of monthly assemblies that recognize students who meet expectations in St. Pat’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program.
The focus for September was safety, and each student received a certificate of recognition. The Shining Knights for October were Juana Calderon, Emma Cruz, Andrea Perla, Alexander Recinos, Angela Rodriguez, Sue Sanchez, Tommy Splendore, Hanna Sucher, Diego Velasco and Brady Welch.
The spirit of Halloween was also in the air Friday, with students wearing their trick-or-treat costumes to school.
