Steven Lynn Vodenik, 71, of Perry died at his home Monday, Oct. 30, 2023.
A Celebration of Life and visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at the Hastings Funeral Home in Perry. Burial will take place at the Violet Hill Cemetery.
Steven is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Shawn Vodenik of Bondurant; daughters, Stacy (Aaron) Grove of Louisburg, Kansas, and Kelsey (Eric) Vodenik-Parmenter of Ankeny; six grandchildren; sister, Keela (Bud) Gilliland of Perry; and sister-in-law, Peggy Carey of Irvine, California.

Steve was one of the first boys I met when we moved to Perry. He had a pet snapping turtle. I’m very sorry to hear of his passing. I’m sure he’ll be missed by many.
