An SUV left the roadway of eastbound Iowa Highway 141 at the Iowa Highway 210 interchange near Woodward Wednesday morning, climbed the embankment and nearly struck to overpass.
No injuries were reported in the one-vehicle mishap.
The Chevrolet Equinox left the roadway about 9:30 a.m. and came to rest on the south embankment of the Iowa Highway 210 overpass.
The circumstances leading to the accident are unknown at this hour, and the incident is under investigation by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
Another vehicle was visible at the foot of the south embankment, but it was apparently unrelated to the Equinox’s accident.
