Tammy Blitz, 54, of Perry passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018, at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, Iowa.
Her family will host a memorial service Friday, May 25 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Perry. Burial will be in the Violet Hill Cemetery at Perry.

Tammy Sue Blitz was born May 31, 1963, in Perry, Iowa, to Larry and Cleta (True) Thompson.
She attended school in Perry.
Tammy was united in marriage to Victor Otis Blitz in Perry at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church on May 15, 1982.
She worked for many years at the Perry Manor as housekeeping maintenance supervisor.
Tammy was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, motorcycle riding and planting flowers.
In death she rejoins her mother, Cleta Thompson Kirkman.
Left to cherish Tammy’s memory are her husband, Victor Blitz; father, Larry Thompson; children, Joshua (Stacey) Blitz of Dallas Center and Jennifer (Brent) Rothfus of Perry; grandchildren, Lola Blitz, Hayden Rothfus, Bryson Rothfus, Emma Ray, Gavin Ray and Gavyn Rothfus; siblings, Cindy (Steve) Boals of Creston, Tim (Tracey Tiffany) Thompson of Perry, Tina (Ralan) Nelson of Perry, Greg Kirkman of Woodward and Jeff (Heidi) Brown of Creston; and many nieces and nephews.
