Motorists are advised to avoid Sixth Street between Otley Avenue and Iowa Street because the Perry Volunteer Fire Department is using Sixth Street to supply water to fight the house fire at 1608 Otley Ave.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which was reported about 10:15 a.m. Friday.
The cause of the blaze in the 102-year-old structure is under investigation.
