Services are pending Vernon Russell Fritz, 95, of Boone and formerly of rural Grand Junction.
Vernon passed away at the Israel Family Hospice House of Mary Greeley Hospice in Ames, Iowa, on Dec. 7, 2023.
Vernon is survived by his two daughters Pamela (Rick) Davis of Grand Junction and Paula (Lee Budesheim) Fritz of Omaha, Nebraska; stepson, Michael (Wanda) Johnson of Winterset; four grandchildren, Orion (Holly Christopher) Johnson, Noelle (Charlie) Clouse, Erin Budesheim and Benjamin Budesheim; and four great-grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Cheyenne Clouse and Avery Clouse.
The Hastings Funeral Home in Jefferson is in charge of arrangements.
