The incident began about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday in the 1200 block of S.E. University Avenue, where officers of the Waukee Police Department responded to a report of “a domestic with a weapon,” according to court records.

The victim told the officers that “he was having an argument with his girlfriend,” and Doe allegedly “picked up a paper towel holder and threw it at the victim,” striking the victim “right above the victim’s left eye,” according to court records.

Doe allegedly “admitted to throwing the paper towel holder” at the victim, according to court records.

Doe is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Aug. 6 in Dallas County District Court.

Doe was convicted of disorderly conduct-fighting or violent behavior in 2017 in Muscatine County District Court.

  1. I knew a guy who literally got a skillet on the head when he got home from the bar. His wife was a little upset her living room carpeting had been repossessed earlier that day.
