A West Des Moines woman was arrested Sunday night after allegedly punching her partner in the midsection.
Laci Lynn Gray, 29, of 6539 Vista Dr., #39201, West Des Moines, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-injury or mental illness.
West Des Moines Police Officers responded to Gray’s residence about 10:45 p.m. Sunday and learned that Gray allegedly “did punch the victim in the genitals and scratch the victim on the neck, leaving marks,” according to court records.
Gray and the victim “live together and have a child together,” according to court records.
Gray is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. She is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 9 in Dallas County District Court.
