Yvonne Streed, 86, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and formerly of Perry passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Burial will be at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry, Iowa, Saturday, May 7 at 1 p.m.

Yvonne Joanne Streed was born April 11, 1936, in Odebolt, Iowa, to James Lewis and Louise Augusta (Dobbert) Neville.

She graduated from Odebolt Arthur High School.

Yvonne was united in marriage to Theodore Wienert Streed at Elk Point, S.D. May 1, 1954.

Yvonne managed the Dallas County Conservation Board’s Forest Park Museum for 14 years and helped on the farm.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Yvonne enjoyed volunteering, quilting, gardening, baking, reading, crossword puzzles and sewing. She especially loved spending time with family.

In death she rejoins her husband, Theodore; parents, James and Louise Neville; six brothers; and one sister.

Left to cherish Yvonne’s memory are her two sons, Kirk Streed and girlfriend, Dawn Smith, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, and Kim and Teresa Streed of Basenor, Kansas; daughter, Karen Jeffries of Sioux City, Iowa; grandchildren, Chasity and Robert Coleman of Round Rock, Texas, Brandy Streed of Sioux City, Drew Mickelson of Sioux City, Summer and Aric Hollingshead of Bondurant, Landon and Julia Streed of Shawnee, Kansas, Ashley and Nick Hawley of Littleton, Colorado, and Haley and Ryne Armstrong of Rogersville, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Reese, Kenzie, Knox, Irelyn, Austin, Corbin, Brooklyn, Kate Remington and Callister; great-great-granddaughter, Haisley; and other family members, Esther Streed-Johnson and Cindy Streed.

Memorials will be given to Hope House Thrift, 40 Lakeland Rd., Lake Ozark, MO 65049 and may be left at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care. Online condolences may be left at www.carrisfuneralhome.com.
