An Ankeny man was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted a West Des Moines woman after breaking into her home.

The officers made contact with the victim, who told the officers that Koroma allegedly “broke open her front door” and then “assaulted her, causing bodily injury when she was hit in the face and head,” according to court records.

The officers observed on the victim “a cut on her lip,” according to court records.

Koroma is held in the Dallas County on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 29 in Dallas County District Court.
