An investigation begun in December by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office and the Dallas Center Police Department led to the arrest Wednesday of Randy August Johnson, 52, of 1201 Ash St. in Dallas Center, on multiple sex abuse charges.
According to a statement released by the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Johnson was arrested without incident.
Charges against Johnson include three counts of indecent contact with a child, two counts of indecent exposure, four counts of third-degree sexual abuse, one count of lascivious acts with a child, two counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and one count of child endangerment.
Johnson is being held at the Dallas County Jail without bond.
