The Jefferson Police Department is seeking a female suspect in connection with a credit card theft discovered July 5.
Jefferson Police Chief Mark Clouse said a Jefferson resident reported the theft after noticing strange charges on the card from July 4.
“It was used twice in Perry and denied twice in Jefferson,” Clouse said, “and that picture is a still from the footage in Perry.”
Both fraudulent transactions in Perry were made at the Dollar General store, Clouse said. He said the amounts of the charges are unknown by his office and await a transaction report from the victim.
Clouse said anyone who recognizes the person in the picture should call the Jefferson Police Department at 515-386-2136, or send a private message the department’s Facebook inbox.
