Law enforcement questioned a man reportedly wielding a golf club and three weights who sought to return to his job at Tyson Fresh Meats Thursday morning.

Perry Police Department officers and a Dallas County Deputy Sheriff spoke with a man at Tyson Fresh Meats Thursday morning about options for returning to work.

The Perry Police Department and Dallas County Sheriff’s office responded to an incident at Tyson Fresh Meats Thursday about 10 a.m. when an employee seeking to return to work and wielding a golf club and three weights for that purpose was stopped.

The circumstances of the incident remain sketchy at this hour. A man who witnessed the commotion from within his semi-tractor trailer indicated the weight-bearing employee made a show of force.

Law enforcement officers and plant security personnel spoke with the man and explained that he could not return to work until he secured some required paperwork relating to a medical condition.

No arrests were made in the incident.
