The first of 2015’s three Perry-Area Chamber of Commerce Friday Fests is scheduled for Friday, June 19, with musical guests Glove Box Whiskey. The free Friday Fests are staged in Pattee Park, with music starting at 6:30 p.m.
The community-wide events are BYOB–Bring Your Own Basket– with attendees encouraged to pack a basket or cooler for a picnic in the park during the concerts, according to Bob Wilson, executive director of the Perry-Area Chamber of Commerce.
Perry-area food and beverage vendors will also be selling goods at the shows.
Free inflatables will be available for the kids, but parents are reminded socks must be worn by children playing in the inflatables.
Friday Fests are sponsored by local businesses and organizations through donations and sponsorships.
The second Friday Fest is Friday, July 17 and will feature The Nadas, and the third is Friday, August 21 with local band RUKKUS.
