  • A caller reported “having a lot of money missing from his account.” An officer responded.
  • A report was received of someone “carrying an assault rifle.” Officers responded and made contact with a juvenile. The officers “gave the BB gun to his grandpa and advised both of them of the dangers and how it is illegal to discharge any BB guns in the city.”
  • A caller said someone was “mad at McDonald’s and was threatening to shoot people when he was placing his order through the drive through.” Officers responded and found it was juveniles making the threats. “All okay.”
  • A caller said “she could hear someone in the house but does not see anyone.” Officers responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “she had sold a truck to her friend back in March,” and the buyer “made a $50 payment, and she has not paid since.” The seller said she is “still in possession of the tile,” and she “wants advice on what she is able to do.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller “said her cell phone is missing.” She said she “:think it may have been stolen.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he found some baby raccoon by an old church.” An officer responded and “decided to leave the two baby raccoons to see if the mother will return.”
  • A caller said “she lost her wallet about a week ago.”
  • Rachael Marie Schmidt, 20, 409 S. Ninth St., Adel, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
