911 call back gets Wells Fargo recording, Perry PD response

Officers of the Perry police Department responded to a hangup 911 call that apparently came from the Wells Fargo bank in downtown Perry about 6 p.m. Wednesday. The business was closed, and the doors were secure.

When a 911 caller to the offices of the Perry Police Department hung up before speaking to the dispatcher, the dispatcher returned the call and got a voicemail greeting from the Wells Fargo bank in Perry.

On the chance of a possible emergency situation, Perry Police Department officers responded to the bank about 6 p.m. Wednesday. They found the bank closed and all the doors secure.
