ALLEMAN — Perry sent six junior varsity wrestlers to grapple Saturday at the North Polk Invitational.
Cori Alamina was 3-0 for Perry with a trio of pins. The senior needed only a combined 4 minutes, 20 seconds to complete the trifecta.
Leonard Jacobson was 2-1 with a pair of pins, with Alan Gomez 2-1 with one win via pin fall and the other a 5-3 victory by tiebreaker.
Taylor Atwell was 1-2, picking up her win with a 10-6 decision, with Jose Chavez using a pin to record a 1-2 mark on the day.
Sergio Gonzalez was also in action. He dropped his first match, then sat out with an injury, finishing 0-3.
