Concerns over the possibility of strong storms after the 8 o’clock hour have resulted in school officials moving the kickoff of tonight’s Greene County vs Perry varsity football game to 6 p.m. at Dewey Field.
The teams will be contesting the Cowbell Trophy for the 91st time. Perry last won the traveling hardware with a 17-14 overtime victory in 2017.
Greene County is 1-0 with a 20-14 win Saturday over AC/GC, a game hosted by Ogden as renovations to Linduska Field in Jefferson are yet to be completed.
Perry is 0-1 and is coming off a 41-0 loss to host Ogden. An week zero game with Panorama, which resulted in a 39-21 Panther win, has been officially declared a scrimmage by the IHSAA. All results and all statistics from that contest will be removed from official records.
