SHENANDOAH, IA — The Panorama volleyball team competed three times Saturday at the Shenandoah Tourney after hosting WCC rival Interstate-35 Thursday.
The Panthers (3-7) dropped all three matches Saturday, falling to Lenox, 21-17 and 21-5, and to Class 2A No. 7 Missouri Valle, 21-9 and 21-4 before dropping a three-game set (12-21, 21-16 and 21-15) to Bedford.
The losses followed a 3-0 sweep of I-35 in league play. Thursday’s win came on scores of 25-15, 25-18, and 25-18.
Madison Mincy had 18 combined assists Saturday and Jazmyn Sellers one, with Jaidyn Sellers recording seven kills, Keira Simmons five kills and Mincy four, with Cayden Iredale having three kills and Zoey Hambleton and and Hallie Arganbright two.
Simmons finished with six blocks and Iredale with 5.5 while Jaidyn Sellers had 2.5 blocks and Hambleton two.
Jazmyn Sellers led the team with 22 digs, with Jaidyn Sellers having 18 digs and Hambleton 11. Mincy had nine digs, Simmons eight, Elizabeth Snyder seven and Arganbright two.
The Panthers served a combined 70-of-80 with 10 aces in their three matches.
Mincy was 19-21-3, Hambleton 13-15-1, Simmons 12-12-1, Jaidyn Sellers 8-12-3 and Jazmyn Sellers 9-9-1. Caitlyn Sloss served 5-fo-6 and Snyder 4-of-4.
Panorama was 68-73-12 behind the service line against I-35.
Mincy finished 17-19-2, Jaidyn Sellers 12-12-4, Hambleton 11-12-2, Simmons 8-9-3, Jazmyn Sellers 5-5-1 and Sloss 15-of-16.
Jaidyn Sellers had 13 kills to lead the attack, with Iredale adding eight kills, Simmons six, Mincy three and Arganbright one.
Mincy finished with 28 assists and Arganbright with two, with Iredale and Simmons having one each.
Eleven digs from Jaidyn Sellers was a team-best, with Mincy having 10. Snyder tallied six digs, Jazmyn Sellers four, Sloss three and Iredale and Simmons one apiece.
Panorama will compete just once over the next seven days, hosting AC/GC tonight at the Panther gym.
