  1. Oh, please. One time being out of control is understandable. It cannot necessarily be overlooked but provided there’s no demonstrable pattern of violence, a second chance might be in order. Not multiple chances. This guy has hurt three people. Perhaps the judge needs to get his serious attention this time. I don’t believe the justice system should be vindictive. On the other hand, enough is enough. Without a doubt, this person is a danger to society. If he remains out of control, he should be controlled by the system.

  2. It’s called Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and what this article fails to mention is that I am mentally unstable but am working on it the best I can. Maybe I am a danger to society, but at least I don’t judge people without getting both sides of the story. But like I said, I AM working on it and was doing very well until that point. I’m getting more control every day but, you know, sometimes you got to get worse to get better.

  3. This article makes him just sound evil. He really deals with A LOT and DOES have mental issues he struggles with and tries to control daily, which I am sure is extremely difficult. While it is true that committing assault is definitely not okay, I don’t believe it’s right either to leave out information and neglect him and his side of the story. I believe he needs to be given more help than he possibly already receives, and I mean actual help, and along with that more understanding.
