November 4, 2019

  • Kelsea Christine Swope, 31, of 908 Greene St., Adel, was arrested for driving while license suspended.
  • A vehicle driven by Zachary Zornes of Cook, Neb., was traveling southbound in the 500 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Larry McCorkel of Adel pulled out of a parking lot and struck Zornes’ vehicle. Damages were estimated at $7,500.
  • Linda Holmberg of Adel reported a scam in the 1100 block of Cassidy Court. Nothing was taken.
  • A vehicle driven by Shannon Cummings of Minburn was traveling northbound in the 1800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when her vehicle struck a deer. Damages were estimated at $50.

November 5, 2019

  • A vehicle driven by Hope LeFleur of Adel was traveling northbound in the 400 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. when a vehicle driven by Kelli Dorwart of Waukee struck the rear of LeFleur’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $1,100.

November 6, 2019

  • A vehicle driven by Brad Kinzie of Adel was traveling eastbound in the 24000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when a vehicle driven by Chloe Menneke of Adel struck the rear of Kinzie’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $5,050.
  • Nicholas Keith Clayton, 29, of 908 Greene St., Adel, was arrested on Dallas County warrants for violation of probation on original charges of two counts of assault on person in certain occupations, theft and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

November 7, 2019

  • Duane Lane of Perry reported a theft from his vehicle in the 200 block of Brickyard Drive. Items were estimated at $190.
  • United Brick and Tile of Adel reported a burglary in the 20 block of Brickyard Drive. The item was estimated at $2,500.
  • ADM High School reported a theft in the 800 block of Nile Kinnick Drive S. The item was recovered.
  • James Julian of Urbandale reported criminal mischief in the 1800 block of Main Street. Damages were estimated at $13.
  • Jeffery Michael Heater, 36, of 908 Greene St., Adel, was arrested for driving while license suspended.

November 8, 2019

  • A vehicle driven by Jana Kolk of Adel was facing northbound in the 400 block of S. 16th Street when a vehicle driven by Andrew Fry of Adel turned and struck Kolk’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $2,000.
  • United Brick and Tile of Adel reported a theft in the 200 block of Brickyard Drive. The item was estimated at $200.
  • A vehicle driven by Elijah Stanley of Casey was turning southbound in the 26000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when a vehicle driven by Sheena Heuer of Adel was traveling eastbound and struck Stanley’s vehicle. Damages were estimated at $6,650.

November 9, 2019

  • A vehicle driven by Tracy Holmes of Daphne, Ala., was traveling westbound in the 25000 block of U.S. Highway 6 when she lost control of her vehicle, which entered the ditch and struck a road sign. Damages were estimated at $1,600.

November 10, 2019

  • A retail store in Adel reported a theft in the 800 block of Greene Street. The item was paid for.
  • A 17-year-old male of Waukee was arrested for fifth-degree theft.
  • Muhammad Rahman of Waukee reported a motor vehicle theft in the 800 block of Greene Street. The vehicle was returned.
