ADM reports 11 more positive cases this week

Eleven people in the Adel-De Soto-Minburn Community School District have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, since Thursday, Nov. 26, according to communications from ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe.

The positive cases included two students at the De Soto Intermediate School, two students and two staff members at the ADM Middle School and four students and one staff member at the ADM High School.

In addition, six people were quarantined as close contacts of the infected students and staff members.

The ADM Community School District had about 1,900 students enrolled in 2019, with about 500 in the high school. The district’s ongoing virus-mitigation strategies can be reviewed on the ADM dashboard.
