What was first reported as a fully engulfed garage fire at 1901 Otley Ave. about 6:15 p.m. Saturday was found to be instead a minor fire in an apartment house at 1019 Otley Ave.
The Perry Volunteer Fire Department responded and promptly controlled the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this hour.
The Perry Police Department, Perry First Responders and Dallas County EMS also responded.
